Aalst Carnaval
You get to learn so much about the locals, their way of living and how proud they are of the their traditions. I have never been to a carnival in my life! Absolutely fabulous! So colourful and quirky! Great photos, you have really captured the atmosphere! OMG this is amazing!!!

I especially liked the drag costumes, haha. Such an incredible and colourful festival and looks like an amazing experience. There are some incredible festivals and traditions in Europe and this seems like one of the more interesting. Our first reaction was Wow! This is crazy! Then we thought about how much work and planning had to go into this Carnival. Just amazing.
