Its at the end of the canal The Lieve that runs along the castle Het Gravensteen and on the outside of Prinsenhof. Its a peaceful area here and nice to have a walk along the water. The towers were build as a kind of defence of the Rabot of the canal. Read more.

At the end of the boat tour or by foot you can see the Twin Towers which as some other reviewers mentioned are the towers of the old sluice of Ghent built in the 15th century. There is not a lot to see except the towers and you cannot enter the building.
The neighbourhood Rabot is the start of the Turkish community in Ghent where you can always find good Turkish food and bakeries. The building you might still see further on are being demolished old apartments to rebuild a complete new part of the city with more modern apartments. It has been cleaned up since the photo was taken not as dirty as it has been The girls are still in the windows waiting for custom but clothed in what one could call skimpy clothes not provocative as they can be fined if they show to much body in the windows.
