We had a lot of fun and this incredibly well run facility with a high standard of everything from kit, cleanliness to operation of multiple dives was really impressive.

We didn't book in advance but there was 5 of us and we turned up when it opened at 10am on a Saturday morning and all managed to get to dive together in the 11am session. You show your diving credentials, sign a register, and pay for your diving up front. I was a little confused because the website says you can get deals if you're doing multiple dives and reduced meals in the restaurant, but this is only if you book up front. It didn't matter though because we were all there and diving together. In every session there's 10mins of free diving practice after the briefing before you're meant to kit up and get in but none of us really wanted to free dive, so we just got our kit together and waited for the bell to ring to signal we could go diving.
It's tremendous fun swimming in very, very clear water down to various different features and levels. There's comic strips on the walls to read and windows that look back out at the restaurant, which was really fun being the fish in the bowl that people were watching, but then waving at them to receive smiles and waves back. The is of course the pit, which is fun not just for going deep but for surfing the bubbles of divers down below at the top, it really tickles.

My favourite were the little secret caves with airpockets that you could go and investigate and have a quick chat with your pals. Totally worth it to see the murals too.

If I lived in Brussels and wanted to learn to dive I would definitely dive here a brilliant facility if it's on your door step and a great place to go for a good giggle with your diving pals if you're trying to have a cultural city break but just can't resist the urge to blow some bubbles. As a novice diver, I was planning to do some deep dives in Portugal and was feeling a bit hesitant to descend to metres without much deep dive experience I do have AOW.
Also, it was late winter and I really wanted to dive, so we went to Nemo! It's a bit of a drive from Holland, but it was a nice early spring day, just warm enough that we could sit on the terrace outside of Nemo.
After the instruction we were guided to the area where we could don our gear. You don't need to bring anything, they can provide you with everything you need. I did bring my mask and a dive computer, but please check on the site which items are not allowed to bring along, because some items are not allowed. The dive was nice and warm. Of course the dive isn't really special as there is not that much to see, but it does give you the opportunity to dive to 32 meters in a very controlled environment.
After dressing, we had a surprisingly good early dinner in the adjoining restaurant! All in all I had a great time and got the opportunity to prepare myself for some 'real' deep diving. I will definitely visit Nemo again. Lucky for me that I live not so far from the place? I like scuba diving and especially in winter season this i a great place to be. Due to the dept of 33 metres you can really practice your diving skills and keep you in shape for the summer season.

Good facilities and the Thai restaurant on site is awesome. Good dive shop, bought my new Suunto D5! Got 2 free dives too! The night dive with glow sticks was cool too! Thanks Nemo It is a pretty great warming up for when you have been out of diving for quite a while and want to get the feeling back a little before getting into the real thing.
All the gear is there and in decent enough shape. Only a computer is not available I think, but is mandatory. Water is 33 degrees Celsius, so no need for a wetsuit or weights. You put your gear together and start diving. Don't expect anything spectacular, it is a swimming pool with a very deep shaft. But as an exercise in depth and buoyancy decent enough. I heard the restaurant is pretty good too. License is obviously required.
